My name is Sophie Nassour, I am from Austin, Texas. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Auburn University with a BS in Apparel Merchandising and a BSBA in Marketing with an International Studies minor. Growing up I was heavily involved in various student organizations including student council and my own club “Arts & Chaps” (the members of the organization created weekly stress relieving craft projects that were donated to children’s hospitals & nursing homes in the Austin area). I grew up in a football loving household, specifically a Texas Longhorn football loving household. After beginning my college career at Auburn University, our house quickly turned into a dual-fan base and to that I say Hook ‘em Horns and War Damn Eagle!

I spend my free time traveling to learn about the world around me, trying new places, freelancing, and spending time with family and friends. I was one of the lucky few to be born and raised in the beautiful city of Austin and I am excited to see what my next adventure entails.

I knew working in a creative industry was for me beginning in my early childhood life. My mother used to always tell me, "Sophie, you're going to school not a fashion show." To me, school was my everyday fashion show, a place where I could express myself through clothing and showoff my personal talents and abilities. I have been able to use my talents in a variety of ways. Whether it is simply helping a friend pick out an outfit for an event, working with other talented students to put on the Auburn University Fashion Event, or interning for Chic Soul, I have been able to showcase my passion for fashion.

My coursework and projects at Auburn University and my amazing internship through Chic Soul have provided me with a deeper understanding of the fashion industry and all the gears that work together behind the scenes. I am a hard worker that is eager to learn and ready for hands-on experience. I am creative and passionate which helps me reach my goals.

I am someone who wants to learn from other professionals in the business, see results that come from hard work, create art in the fashion industry, and use marketing tactics to improve and uplift the industry. My future is somewhere where I can merge my passion for fashion, marketing abilities, organizing skills, artistic skills, and dedication to excellent results all together in a positive working environment.
