After analyzing Camryn’s front width proportions, side width proportions, and front length proportions I have come up with two outfits for her that would suit her body shape based on what I have learned in class. Since Camryn has an “H” or “Rectangle” front width proportion, she should wear flare styles or bias cut garments and she should de-emphasize the waist. Camryn also has an “r” side width proportion which means she should wear styles that reduce the fullness of her bust and wear loose fitted tops.  Since Camryn has a “W” front length proportion, she shouldn’t wear a belt at her actual waistline since it is so high. After deeply looking at what suits her body type, I decided on a simple look for her first outfit. I suggest a classic flare-bell bottom high waisted jean to give her bottom half more curves. I also suggest a white, loose fitted, high neck top to de-emphasize her bust. For shoes, I suggest a simple brown platform sandal. I suggest Camryn wears a shorter heel because she already has natural height. Lastly, I suggest a dainty necklace rather than a chunky necklace to make sure no more attention is drawn to the chest/bust area. For my second outfit suggestion, I have selected a simple bias cut black satin midi dress with strappy blue stilettos. I chose the simple black bias cut dress to create curves on Camryn’s rectangular body shape. Lastly I suggest a simple strappy heel in a bright color to add a pop of color to the simple black outfit.
